Virtual hosting, or subhosting, is one of the most powerful features of the Virtual Server System. With virtual hosting you can support multiple domain names (or "Virtual Domains") on a single Virtual Server. In other words, you can host "example.com" and "yourname.com" on the same Virtual Server, each with its own domain name. Using the Advanced or Pro Virtual Server accounts, you can also offer the ability to give each virtual host their own unique FTP login and access to their own subdirectory only, along with creating e-mail addresses using their own domain name. There are some limitations to virtual hosting; however, we offer this functionality without charging you monthly for the virtual hosts you maintain. For performance reasons, there are some guidelines to the number of virtual hosts that you should place on a single Virtual Server. These are just guidelines as it is possible that a single site could consume the entire resources of your server. These guidelines are as follows:
